The New Generation Foundation
The New Generation Foundation is an independent non-profit organisation based at Palazzo Corsini al Prato in Florence, dedicated to supporting the next generation of artists through performance, education and research. Founded in 2017 as the New Generation Festival by Frankie Parham, Roger Granville and Maximilian Fane, it became a year-round institution following the success of the 2020 ReGeneration Festival, presented with the Uffizi Galleries.

See the productionA two-year programme of training and professional opportunities for young opera singers and répétiteurs, led by Ralph Strehle and Julia Lynch. Its teaching approach draws on the latest research in voice science and performance psychology.
mascaradeopera.comThe rediscovery, performance and revival of the Florentine choral tradition, across three strands: research, performance and education. The programme transcribes forgotten manuscripts of sacred polyphony from the archives of Florence and brings them back to live performance. Its education work includes the Florence Choral Course and the Coro di Santo Spirito.
voxmedicea.comSince 2017 the Festival has brought the finest talents in opera and the arts to Florence, with editions that have also reached the Swiss mountains of Andermatt. In June 2027 it celebrates its tenth anniversary.

Every donation supports the performing arts in Florence: young artists, the creation of new productions and the restoration of Renaissance masterpieces. Friends of the Foundation receive tickets to the concert season, invitations to receptions and behind-the-scenes visits.
